Scope and Contents note
This series, Administrative Records, consists primarily of correspondence, memoranda, minutes, publications, applications, personnel records, resumes, grant proposals and student records. Subjects chronicled in these records include the building of Garland Hall, the acquisition of Levering Hall from the YMCA, the student protest over military recruitment on campus in 1970, and the breakup of the Department of Education. These records, created by Deans Cox, Evans, Kimball, Benton, Owen and Suskind, are arranged in alphabetical order by subject and cover the period from 1943 to 1983.
