In this series are over 170 published articles. Some articles are those published by Lanier during his lifetime, and other articles are those written by his many admirers which describe Lanier the man and his art.

Custodial History
Some of the material had been collected by Lanier family members and Lanier's biographers. It was later presented to the University library and was included in the memorial areas named for Lanier. Most recently, this collection was partly stored at Evergreen and partly in Rare Books.
Processing Information
In 1993, all the items were removed to Manuscripts. Some articles were bound separately, but many single journal issues which included an article were also bound. All articles have either been removed from bindings or photocopied and are filed in folders in Box 12-1. The bound volumes have been retained and are stored in Boxes 12-2 and 12-3.
