Especially well-represented in this series is Hollander's work with the American Economic Association. See his correspondence with Winthrop M. Daniels and Ray B. Westerfield. Hollander's work on Latin America especially Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala is discussed in the correspondence with William G. McAdoo, Leo Stanton Rowe, Albert Sanches, and Otto Schoenrich. The Philippines are discussed in letters from John S. Hord and Cuba in letters from Albert Sanchez.

There are several items (l925, 1931) relating to the Russian revolution and reconstruction in the letters of the Page School of International Relations and Donald Stephens.

Information on social welfare activities can be found in the correspondence of Charles J. Bonaparte, Edward T. Devine, and Walter S. Ufford. This topic is complemented by the series of Hollander's correspondence on his Jewish communal activities which is owned by the Jewish Historical Society of Maryland.
