Scope and Contents
This series of cards in this collection was inspired by the 1834 fairy tale poem, The Little Humpbacked Horse ('Konyok-Gorbunok' in Russian), written by Pyotr Pavlovich Yershov, which in turn was inspired by the Russian fairy tale, Tsarevitch Ivan, the Fire Bird and the Gray Wolf. These cards were published sometime in the early 1900s.
