This subseries comprises one of the signature groups of Globe posters wherein they developed a well-known design style. The posters for musical performances featured various genres of music popular at various times throughout their company history with many of their most common musical genres in their customer base outlined in the subseries below. Each poster is typically printed in one or more colors, most commonly with Day-Glo ink, black ink in imprints of their signature wood type, as well as the use of the artist's image, their name or logo, the date and location of the show, and optional additional details such as popular song titles and ticketing information. This design choice is also visually referenced in the Work orders, Production process records, and Image or Photo cuts series. Since artists of different genres often performed on the same ticket, the subseries which it is listed under is based on the headliner artist's most prominent music style or the dominant music style of the various acts on a poster.
