Series 3: Personal case files, 1978 - 1990
Scope and Contents
Briefs, draft and final opinions, correspondence with lawyers, other judges, and the Clerk's office, and related materials for both argued and non-argued cases ruled on by Judge Winter. Much of this material is likely duplicated in the Clerk's Office but may contain some original material.
This series was originally titled "Argued and Non-Argued Cases."
At the end of Series 3 are Boxes 3.111 to 3.116. In these boxes are 3x5 index cards which list the names of the appellant and appellee for the many cases numbered Series 1 through 3. The cards are arranged chronologically by year and then alphabetically by appellee and appellant.
