Scope and Contents
The collection of Neil A. Grauer consists of memorabilia ranging in date from 1966 to 2016 the features the Blue Jay logo designed by Grauer for the use of athletic teams at The Johns Hopkins University. The Blue Jay is a cartoon character first drawn by Grauer while he was a student at Hopkins, 1965-1969. Included in the collection are T-shirts, posters, cups, an umbrella, a tie tack, all printed with the Blue Jay logo. Included also are Grauer's original drawings and photocopies of drawings created specifically for games with rival Lacrosse teams including Princeton, Cornell, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Virginia, Harvard, and others (1970s-1990s).
