Research is the largest series in the collection. Here is the bulk of Professor Lane's research for his lectures, articles, and books. The files, arranged with Lane's subject headings, contain extensive notes on monies and banking, shipping, shipbuilding, routes, crews, guilds, contracts, merchants, trade, families, and the politics of Renaissance Venice.
