From the Series:

The records from the Director's Office come from three different accessions. One group was housed in boxes labeled "Director's Office '84-'95". Another group of boxes was only labeled "Director's Office Files". The third group was labeled "Director's Office -- M. Miskimon/T. Laguerre". Types of records include correspondence, printed email, memoranda, meeting materials and meeting minutes, policies and procedures, reports, and presentations. Subjects of note reflected in these records include relations with AURA, NASA, committees such as STUC, STIC, IVC, Institute Executive Committee; strategic planning, institute reorganization, and early planning of the Hubble Space Telescope. Directors of STScI: Riccardo Giacconi, 1981-1993; Robert Williams, 1993-1998; Steven Beckwith, 1998-2005; Matt Mountain, 2005-present. There are closed files in boxes 13 and 14.
