Biographical / Historical

The Foreign Affairs Symposium (FAS) is a student-run lecture series sponsored by Johns Hopkins University. Founded in 1998, the Symposium runs each year over the course of the spring semester, as a counterpart to the student-run Milton S. Eisenhower Symposium. Bound together by an annual theme based on contemporary global affairs and issues, each year's series features lectures and panels made up of politicians, activists, journalists, and business leaders.
