    Copied from dealer description: "Collection of 35 Invitations and Announcements to Surrealist Artist Exhibitions, 1947-1976. 35 exhibition announcements, ranging in size from 4 1/8" x 5 1/4" to 8 1/2" X 11", most approximately 6" x 8", primarily single leaf, folded and printed in quarto, some multi-leaf examples, most with reproductions of the artists' work, some in color, with examples related to Camille Bryen, Rene Crevel, Salvador Dali, Max Ernst, Leonor Fini, Wilfredo Lam, Rene Magritte, Man Ray, Andre Masson, Matta, E.L.T. Mesens, Joan Mir, Zwy Milshtein/Max Jacob, Henry Moore, Paul Nouge, Octavio Paz, and Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes, from venues in France, Switzerland, and Belgium, including the Orangerie, the Musee de I'art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Galerie Beyeler, Galerie Maeght, Galerie lolas et al. Some letterpress or engraved, many offset on various papers, a few with reproductions laid-in or handprinted, one invitation with an original photographic print by Alfredo Vila Monasterio, overall good condition with usual wear, a few creases and bumps. 1947-1976."
