C. Harvey Palmer, Jr. is professor emeritus of electrical engineering at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in optics, the branch of physics which involves the behaviour and properties of light, including its interactions with matter and the construction of instruments that use or detect it. He was most known for his book, Optics: Experiments and Demonstrations, published by The Johns Hopkins University Press.
