Overview Charles McCurdy "Mac" Mathias Jr. (1922-2010) was a Republican member of the United States Senate, representing Maryland from 1969 to 1987. He was also a member of the Maryland House of Delegates and the United States House of Representatives. The collection includes material from Mathias's service in both the House of Representatives and the Senate dating from approximately 1958-1988.
Scope and Contents Because this is an artificial collection, formed largely by materials gathered by members of the COMSAT Legacy Foundation, it does not document all aspects of the corporation's history.
