Overview The origins of the School of Professional Studies in Business and Education (SPSBE) can be traced back to 1909, when the "College Courses for Teachers" school was created at Hopkins. On January 1, 2007, SPSBE separated into two new schools—the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, and the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. This collection contains confidential records relating to students that attended SPSBE from approximately 1977 to 2007.
