Edwin Booth papers
Collection consists largely of clippings related to Edwin Booth and other 19th century actors. Booth items include notice of a birthday celebration in Baltimore (1898), and the dedication of a memorial window in a church in New York City (1898). Also included are orbituaries of other actors of the period: Stuart Robson, John Sleeper Clarke and Creston Clarke. A photograph of John Wilkes Booth and a clipping describing Greenmount cemetery, where Booth is buried.
George B. Coale letters
George B. Coale (1819-1887) was an insurance executive in Baltimore. This collection consists of ten letters to George B. Coale ranging in date from 1832 to 1881.
Harriet L. Lagowitz autograph albums
Harriet L. Lagowitz was a resident of New York city in the late nineteenth century. The collection (1877-1890) is formed by two autograph albums and approximately 80 envelopes containing the autographs of theater and stage performers.
Moncure-Lyne Family scrapbooks
The collection (1897-1943) consists of three scrapbooks, the subjects of which are the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln and Edgar Allan Poe. The scrapbooks were compiled by Miss Cassandra Moncure Lyne (born 1875) in collaboration with her mother, Mrs. Cassandra Moncure Lyne (1845-1934).
