Scope and Contents
This is a carbon typescript (8 pages) with editing notes, later published in V. 26, "The Johns Hopkins Alumni Magazine" as "Bombs and Bayonets in Wuhu." The typescript is in the form of a letter, dated January 14, 1938. It describes aerial attacks and subsequent invasion of Wuhu, China by the Japanese army in December 1937. The letter is signed "One Who Has Seen War." A handwritten note identifies four graduates of the Johns Hopkins Medical School: W.K. May, Lorenzo Seymour Morgan, Ruth...
