Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series contains small household items, writing instruments, games, and other ornamental items that decorated the Lanier family home. The items were formally part of the Lanier Room established in Gilman Hall in the 1940s. Wooden trays, brushes, knitting needles, a sewing box, and several inkwells are among the pieces included in Series 11.
