Scope and Contents

A pamphlet produced by the NAACP describing the goals of their Fight for Freedom Campaign, with a target date of 1963 to reach these goals. Goals include expanding job opportunities for Black workers, expanding voter registration and abolishing the poll tax, abolishing the filibuster as a method of preventing civil rights legislation, and ending segregation in housing, schools, transportation, public accommodations (e.g., hotels, restaurants, entertainment businesses, parks), hospitals and other health services, and voluntary associations.
