Religious press mentions of the NAACP; one is volume XXXVI, no. 8 of a newsletter titled "Information Service," published by the Bureau of Research and Survey, National Council of the Churches of Christ in the United States of America, which gives an overview of the NAACP, its goals, and its history. The other item is an article from The Michigan Catholic, titled "NAACP 'In Calm Deliberation,'" which favorably discusses the NAACP's convention in Detroit and its goals to solve segregation and discrimination against Black people.
