Scope and Contents
The collection consists of audio and video oral history interviews of Hopkins faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni conducted under the auspices of the Hopkins Retrospective program. This series will continue to grow as new oral histories are conducted as part of the active Hopkins Retrospective program. Transcripts, releases, notes, and related documentation are available regarding these oral histories. Please contact Special Collections for more information.

Biographical / Historical
Hopkins Retrospective is an initiative created by the Office of the President to expand understanding of the history of Hopkins and weave that history into the university experience. In 2014, an oral history program was created as part of this initiative. Audio and video oral histories have been recorded by Jennifer Kinniff, Hopkins Retrospective Program Manager, Stuart "Bill" Leslie, Professor of the History of Science and Technology, and students in an astronomy course examining the impact of the Hubble Space Telescope on Johns Hopkins University.

These interviews were facilitated by the Hopkins Retrospective program and transferred to the University Archives from 2015-present.
