Heart-shaped Valentine with origami folds and verse
Scope and Contents
This item is a heart-shaped Valentine with origami folds which hang from a ribbon. It was created approximately in the 1840s. The front and back of the item are hand colored, and it unfolds to form three different flower patterns. Each flower has eight panels featuring a short poem or verse. The item measures approximately 18 x 17 cm at its widest points.
