Scope and Contents
The Counter-cultural ephemera collection is an artificially assembled collection with items from approximately 1960-1981. The collection consists of ephemera associated with various alternative lifestyle and counter-cultural movements of the 1960s and 1970s that were concerned with world peace, environmentalism, experimentation with hallucinogenic drugs, vegetarianism, and communal living.
