Collection contains approximately 40 letters of condolence on Roulston's death; notebook and notes, "Pour Reussir a Hollywood: Les Aventures du Prof. Dupont," 4 boxes of notes and drafts in German; records of courses in 8 bound volumes, in German; 4 bound volumes of typescripts of Italian plays in English translation; 10 bound volumes of German plays and critiques, 1938-1944; 10 bound volumes of theatre and concert programs; and 1 bound volume, "Trip to the Canadian Rockies," 1910.

Biographical Note

Robert Bruce Toulston was a professor of German at The Johns Hopkins University for thirty-seven years. He received his B.A. from Hopkins in 1900, and his Ph.D. in German in 1906. Roulston served as director of the Summer School and was the editor of the JHU Alumni Magzine for twenty years.
