Biographical / Historical

Eugene L. Weston is a retired medical surgeon living in Oro Valley, Arizona, who attended Johns Hopkins University as a student in the 1950s. During his time at Hopkins, Weston worked for or was involved with what was known as the "Bureau of Appointments". He also may have collaborated with the Hopkins' Sportshop, possibly a store on campus that sold sports paraphernalia. It is likely that these papers resulted from Weston's personal project to create an official Hopkins blazer jacket. At the time, the market for this was small, as only a few dozen jackets were sold.
