Franz Carl Bornschein (1879-1948) was a composer of more than 200 works, primarily vocal music, and a professor of violin and composition at the Peabody Conservatory. Jean Eichelberger Ivey (1923-2010) was a composer, pianist, electronic musician, professor, and the founder of the Peabody Conservatory Electronic Music Studio, which she directed from 1969 until her retirement from Peabody in 1997. Abstract Judith Sylvia Gray (b. 1942) is a composer and painter based in Salisbury, Maryland, who earned a Master of Music degree in composition in 1969 from the Peabody Conservatory. The Judith Sylvia Gray music manuscripts, 1967-2022, contain unpublished scores of about 25 works composed by Gray from 1969 to 1994.
