C. Grove Haines papers

The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence and subject files dating to Haines's time as the Director of the Bologna Center at the School of Advanced International Studies dating from 1970-1976. The Lieber Papers span the years from 1829 to 1873 and include correspondence; interleaved copies of Lieber's books; a small number of original manuscripts; printed speeches, lectures, articles and poems; administrative materials, printed briefs and manuscript decisions for the United States and Mexican Claims Commission (1868-1872).
