Tom Flannery cartoons collection
Thomas F. Flannery was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania in 1919. In 1957, he moved to Baltimore and became the first editorial cartoonist for The Evening Sun in 1957. Topics include: Baltimore and Maryland, sports and personages, national issues and world affairs in the late 1950s through the 1960s, including the Kennedy presidency, the war in Vietnam, and the Cold War.
Trade card for John Mawe's Free Museum in Matlock Bath, England
John Mawe (1764-1829) was a British mineralogist who became known for his practical approach to the discipline. The collection includes an engraved paper trade card for "J. Mawe, Free Museum, Matlock. Mineral and Shells, Amethystine fluor and Black Marble ornaments, elegantly engraved or plain, chimney pieces etc." The trade card dates to the early 1800s, likely 1800.

The Tuesday Club, a colonial music club, was founded in Annapolis, Maryland in 1745 by Dr. Alexander Hamilton (1712-1756), a Scottish-born doctor and writer. This collection consists of a one volume manuscript documenting the records of The Tuesday Club, written in 1755.

The Undergraduate Science Bulletin was a science journal begun in 1971 and published once each semester by undergraduates. The records of the Undergraduate Science Bulletin consist entirely of issues of the journal from 1971 to 1978; no correspondence or other documentation is extant. Volume 5, Number 2 and Volume 7, Number 1 are missing.
