Charles Lane Poor papers
Charles Lane Poor (1866-1951) was an alumnus of Johns Hopkins University and a professor of astronomy and celestial mechanics at Columbia noted for his opposition to Einstein's theory of relativity. Materials date from 1898-1945 and include reports, lectures, reprints, correspondence, photographs, and nine volumes of published articles.
Charles Mason Remey papers
Charles Mason Remey was an architect, author, and a religious leader of the Baha'i faith. He was born in Burlington, Iowa, May 15, 1874. The collection consists of 154 bound volumes, spanning 1836-1940. In the volumes are personal reminiscences, clippings, photographs, memorabilia, biographical accounts of Mason and Remey family members, and a historical record of the Baha'i faith.
Charles McCurdy Mathias Jr. papers
Charles McCurdy "Mac" Mathias Jr. (1922-2010) was a Republican member of the United States Senate, representing Maryland from 1969 to 1987. He was also a member of the Maryland House of Delegates and the United States House of Representatives. The collection includes material from Mathias's service in both the House of Representatives and the Senate dating from approximately 1958-1988.

Severn Teackle Wallis (1816 – 1894) was an American lawyer and politician as well as a promoter of the Maryland Historical Society. The collection consists of three scrapbooks of newspaper clippings ranging in date from 1867 to 1894. The clippings were collected by Charles Morris Howard, a Baltimore lawyer.

Charles S. Peirce papers
Collection consists of one bound holographic notebook of philosopher and mathematician, Charles S. Peirce. The notebook contains a catalog of books on logic and scholastic philosophy from Peice's personal library. Peirce also noted the estimated value of each title. Most likely, Peirce compiled the notebook, 1880-1881, at a time when he hoped to find a buyer for his library. Most of the books were acquired by the Johns Hopkins University in 1881.
